THE MAMMOGRAM TRUCK

The Pink Drive is moving to The Women’s Show....

The Mobile Mammography Unit is a doctor’s room on wheels. Mostly visitors and patients alike are impressed by the state of the art equipment inside an area fitted with wooden floors, granite tops and air conditioners. This was done deliberately to achieve a beautiful, serene space where a woman may feel comfortable and safe.

This unit is manned by a qualified mammographer and supporting nurse. Women have the opportunity to step onboard the medical facility, where the nurse can examine each individual in private. To compliment the education, a free bra measurement service is offered as 70% of all women wear the incorrect bra size! This has been met with great enthusiasm!

THE SPEKKO KITCHEN - Female Chefs in Action

The Spekko Kitchen is the place to witness the cook off of the year between two magazine editors, Sonya Naude from Longevity and Sasha Zambetti from Avocado. They will prepare the recommended rice recipes together with three team members. Hang onto your aprons as these two highly competitive cooks dish it up.
